How it works

Ready in three steps.

  1. Add your events

One-off nights or a recurring meetup, or import your calendar.

  2. Pair a tablet

Open your sign-in page on any tablet and type the pairing code.

  3. Hand it to the door

Guests sign in; you watch the count and the list grow.

Two different jobs

Sign In App does visitor management well: it signs in visitors, staff and contractors, prints photo badges, handles pre-registration and approvals, and keeps an evacuation list. Its pricing page lists plans per site, billed yearly in pounds: Core at £415, Enhanced at £835 and Pro at £1,255 a site, with unlimited iPads, employees and sign-ins at each site. Its help pages say each location with a different postcode needs its own site, and its trial is 15 days.

A club's door is a different job. People come to an event, not to an office; the same faces come back every week; and the point is often to grow the mailing list and see whether attendance is rising. Pass the Pad ties every sign-in to an event, lets regulars find their own name, offers a tick box to join your list, and shows headcounts by event, week or month.

Pricing follows the same idea. One Sign-in plan covers the whole organization, however many venues you meet in, monthly or yearly. If you need badge printing, staff time and attendance, or fire roll calls for an office, Sign In App is the better fit. If you run events, Pass the Pad is.
