Pricing

Flat prices that fit your club.

Sign-in is one price for your whole organization. Club adds Membership and is priced by your active members, never by guests or sign-ins. Want a website too? We'll build it for you. We never take a cut of your members' payments.

Prices in US dollars, per organization. Paying yearly costs 10 months' price. Cancel any time; your data stays yours to export. Payments from your members go to your own account, minus only Stripe's or PayPal's normal fees. The white glove website is quoted and invoiced on its own; the price is fixed before work starts.

White glove custom website

A website we build for you, that you can run yourself.

We design your club's website, move your content over and connect it to Pass the Pad. You get an admin section simple enough for any officer to use, and for the first 30 days after launch every change and new feature you ask for is free. From $1,500 one time, then $49 a month for hosting and care.

What's included

Designed for your club

A custom design built around your logo, colors and photos, with as many pages as you need: home, about, events, join, donate, officers, news and contact.

An easy admin section

Edit any page the way you'd edit a document. Change words and photos, add news, update officers, preview before publishing and undo a mistake. No code, no webmaster.

Room for your whole board

Give each officer their own login to the admin section, and see who changed what and when.

Connected to Pass the Pad

Upcoming events, join and renew forms, donations, the store, the member directory and newsletter signup appear on the site and stay up to date by themselves.

Your content moved for you

We bring over your old website, Facebook page or documents, tidy up the writing and organize it into clear pages. You approve it before anything goes live.

Right on every screen

Looks good and loads fast on phones, tablets and computers, and is built to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.

Your domain, set up properly

We register or move your domain, set up secure HTTPS and point your club email at it so it keeps reaching inboxes.

Easy to find on Google

Page titles, descriptions, a sitemap, your Google business listing and social sharing previews, all set up at launch.

Looked after

Hosting, security updates and daily backups are included in hosting and care, with a real person to help when you need it.

30 days of free changes and features

After launch, ask for anything: edits, new pages, a new section, a new feature. It's all free for 30 days, so the site fits the way your club really works.

What it does for your club

Look as good as you are

A modern website makes a better first impression on new members, sponsors, donors and the press.

No webmaster needed

Any officer can update the site in minutes, so it never goes stale waiting for the one person who knows how.

Survives a change of officers

The site belongs to the club, not a volunteer's personal account. New officers get a login, not a mystery.

Less to keep up to date

Events, membership and donations come straight from Pass the Pad, so you never update the same thing in two places.

More members and donations

Join, renew and donate buttons on every page, with one checkout that goes straight to your own Stripe or PayPal.

One team, one bill

Sign-in, membership, newsletters and your website from the same people, with one place to ask for help.

How it works

  1. Talk to us. A short call about your club, what you want the site to do and what you have today. You get a fixed quote.
  2. We build it. You send your logo and photos; we design the site, move your content and connect Pass the Pad. You see a first draft within about two weeks.
  3. You approve it. Tell us what to change until you're happy, then we launch on your domain and walk your officers through the admin section.
  4. 30 days of free changes. Keep asking for edits and new features for 30 days after launch, at no charge. After that, hosting and care is $49 a month.
Why clubs switch

Built for the door, the list and the members.

What you get with Pass the Pad, and where other tools stop short.

A door tablet that works offline

Sign-ins are saved on the tablet and upload when the wifi comes back. MembershipWorks, Join It, Raklet, Memberful and Wild Apricot have no offline door kiosk. Planning Center Check-Ins has one, built for churches.

Regulars sign in with two taps

Returning guests find their name after two letters. Every event gets a headcount of new and returning guests, plus room counts for people who didn't sign in.

0% of your money, ever

Dues, tickets, donations and store sales go straight to your own Stripe or PayPal. Join It takes 1.5% to 3%, Raklet 1% to 4% plus 60¢ a payment, Memberful 4.9% and Luma's free plan 5%, on top of card fees.

One price for every room

Unlimited tablets, events and volunteers for one flat price. Visitor sign-in tools such as Envoy and Sign In App charge for each location.

Mailchimp sync is free

Opt-ins go to your Mailchimp audience, tagged by event, on every plan. MembershipWorks charges $9 a month for its Mailchimp add-on.

Move over in an afternoon

Upload the export from 22 tools, from Wild Apricot and MembershipWorks to Eventbrite and Mailchimp. Members, renewal dates, tags, past attendance and email consent come with it, and Stripe auto-renewals are taken over without members re-entering cards.

Newsletters with your member list built in

Write to members, lapsed members or last month's guests without exporting a list. The first 250 subscribers are included in every paid plan.

Your price is locked

We don't raise the price of your plan while you stay. It changes only when your club moves to a different size tier.

Set up in under an hour

Sign up, add your logo, pair a tablet with a code and you're ready for tonight. Bring your members over with an import.

Moving is easy

Bring everything with you.

Download one file from the tool you use now and upload it to Pass the Pad. Most exports are recognised on their own; you see a preview before anything changes, and nobody is emailed or charged.

What comes over depends on what each tool lets you export. No tool exports passwords or saved cards: members set a password the first time they log in, and card auto-renewals move only where the cards are already in your own Stripe account (MembershipWorks, Memberful, MemberPress). Importing the same file twice never adds anyone twice, so you can move over gradually.

Calculator

Price your club.

Move the sliders to your club's size. We compare our price with the cheapest way to get the same things from other tools: a door tablet, membership and newsletters.

Pass the Pad

Each bar is the cheapest way to get a door tablet, membership and newsletters from that tool. Where a tool lacks one, the bar adds a common add-on and names it. Monthly list prices; several tools also discount yearly billing. Card processing (about 2.9% + 30¢) is the same everywhere and left out.

Side by side

Membership tools

Monthly list prices by number of members. Join It, Raklet and Memberful also take a share of every payment, shown here for members paying $40 a year.

MembershipWorks is free up to 50 members only if the club doesn't take payments online. Zeffy and Givebutter are free to the club because they ask members for a tip at checkout, often suggesting 10% to 15%; members pay it, the club doesn't. Join It's figure is its $29 base plan plus its 3% fee. Wild Apricot's prices are for contacts, not members, from its own pricing page; it adds 20% to them for clubs that take payments through Stripe or PayPal.

Side by side

Newsletter tools

Monthly list prices by number of subscribers.

Some tools have free plans for small lists, with their branding and fewer sends: Sender, EmailOctopus and beehiiv up to 2,500 subscribers, and Kit up to 10,000 with fewer features. Buttondown costs less than us at 1,000 and 5,000 subscribers at list price, and at every size with its 50% discount for 501(c)(3) nonprofits. MailerLite gives nonprofits 30% off, which brings it level with or below our price. Mailchimp, Constant Contact, MailerLite and Kit prices at each size come from price aggregators, because their own pages use sliders.

Prices checked October 2026 from each tool's own pricing page or, where noted, from price aggregators. Prices change; check the vendor's site before you decide.

Questions

Pricing questions

How much does Pass the Pad cost?

Sign-in is $12 a month for your whole organization. Club, which adds Membership, starts at $45 a month for up to 300 active members. Both include newsletters to 250 subscribers; above that the Newsletters add-on starts at $12 a month. Paying yearly costs 10 months' price.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every organization gets 30 days free, with no card needed.

What counts as an active member?

Someone with a current membership, or one in its grace period after it ends. Lapsed members, guests, sign-ins and mailing-list contacts are never counted, and there is no limit on them.

Do you charge per ticket, per sign-in or per transaction?

No. We never take a percentage of dues, tickets, donations or store sales. Payments go to your own Stripe or PayPal account, which charge only their normal processing fees.

What happens after the trial?

Choose a plan to keep going. If you don't, your club moves to the free plan: 1 tablet and 100 sign-ins a month, with "Powered by Pass the Pad" on the tablet. Nothing is deleted, and you can still export everything.

What if our club grows?

Your Club price follows your active members. When you pass a tier, your plan moves up to the next one, and if your membership shrinks it moves back down. Newsletters work the same way with subscribers.

Can I change or cancel my plan?

Any time, from your dashboard. Move between Sign-in and Club, add or remove Newsletters, or cancel and export your data whenever you like.

Can you build our website for us?

Yes. The white glove custom website add-on is for either plan: we design and build your club's website, move your content over, connect it to your events, membership and newsletters, and give you an easy admin section to update it yourself. It starts at $1,500 one time, with a fixed quote before we start.

What do the 30 days of free changes cover?

Everything you ask for in the first 30 days after your website launches: edits, new pages, new sections and new features, at no charge. After that, hosting and care is $49 a month for hosting, security updates, daily backups and help, and you can keep making changes yourself in the admin section.

Do nonprofits get a discount?

Our prices are already set for small nonprofits and clubs. Everyone pays the same, so there is no paperwork to prove your status, and we take no percentage of donations or dues.
